According to several reports in Mexico, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has rejected the World Boxing Council's title belt which the sanctioning body created for the big Cinco De Mayo event. The WBC created the belt, which it planned to present to the winner of Canelo's HBO Pay-Per-View fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

While I don't have much respect for a number of Canelo's actions, this one I do.

You can guarantee the WBC has had several meetings with "How can we get a slice this pie" at the top of the agenda. Scumbags will create any strap just to demand a cut of the dough.

I'm surprised they haven't invoiced Canelo for the sanctioning of his early morning dump in the toilet.

This is just Canelo butthurt that WBC stand by their rules for once and enforced GGGs mandatory position. Canelo wants the organisations to play by his rule, to bend over and let him do whatever he wants.
