Because it's the two biggest names in Mexican boxing fighting on Cinco De Mayo. Like I said, if they would've made a trophy instead of a belt people wouldn't hate the idea so much. The fact that it's another belt is what's making people mad.

            How very dare they.
They tried to mandate percentages and a 30 day negotiating period.

Basically Little G just had to wait 30 days and he'd get 45% to Ca$hnelo's 55%.

            Ca$hnelo simply said "f**k that".

Once Little G accepts his place the fight will get done. Doubt it though, Little G is a coward businessman.

and this is why they dont need the wbc here, wbc should be showing support to other fights not this one, they had no business in this fight period.... other fights need the noise, not this one... no one ask them to stick their nose here...

First of all, how is GGG the coward when Canelo's side gave up the belt and fought someone else. Secondly, all it meant is that Canelo was obligated to give him a good offer and not expect GGG to accept table scraps. Besides, I don't think purse bids affect the pay pew view splits. The different promoters bid for the fight and then the fighters get a split of the winning bid. PPV splits don't have anything to do with that.

Oscar and Canelo knew ahead of time what was going to happen if they became the WBC champion. They were fully aware that if they beat Cotto they were going to have to fight GGG next. Cotto/Canelo took place in Nov., they had all that time to negotiate a deal knowing GGG was next. If they didn't want to follow the WBC rules they never should have paid the sanctioning fees. Canelo ran to the WBO knowing thats where the weakest champions are. Why face Smith when he could have face either of the Charlos.
