Nah, Tyson was more sensational with hes size and youth. And hes story fitted perfectly. First time Tyson was knocked down was in hes tenth title fight. The fact that joshua won the gold in london( and diddnt deserve it) beaten "bigly" by Savon, will not help him either.

But again please read what i write. I said SINCE not bigger than Tyson.
I ask if he will be the biggest since Tyson, not surpassing him, his aura or fame.
AJ has a great team behind him. He'll be a huge star. Great attitude too. He'll be a great ambassador for the heavyweight division. AJ is about to be built like a Hollywood star.

Fighting twice a year won't help.

Should he keep winning, there is no reason why Joshua cant be as big as Tyson as there are so many more media outlets and promotional opportunities available to him.

As an example, my son and I went into an Under Armour shop on the weekend and he knew who Joshua was because of the product not boxing

Mike Tyson was a force of nature. He was dangerous in the ring and even more so outside. A Mike Tyson stare down was more entertaining than half the fights we see today. With that being said, Joshua can be a big star. However, if wants to be as big he'll have to dial up the crazy. I wouldn't recommend that because the crash will be about as bad as it was for Tyson.

Mike Tyson is still a bigger sporting icon than Anthony Joshua, and he retired well over a decade ago! And Prince Naseem Hamed was the biggest boxing icon since Mike Tyson! (These where athletes who effected culture perceptions within society!).....

Mike Tyson just as a person, had a energetic magnetism about him! that Anthony Joshua does not have in my opinion! When Mike Tyson lost his first fight? it made him a even bigger star, because he had a deep emotional rapport with his supporters! (I am not so sure whether Anthony Joshua has genuine fans, they all just seem like casual Sheeple!)...

Mike Tyson was heavyweight champion, when boxing had no competition from any other combat sports! Iron Mike Tyson was quite literally the baddest man on the planet! he was champion when the heavyweight title was probably still the greatest single honor a individual athlete can win in sports! (Times change, and so has the demographic in which boxing is existing in!)......
