you still going on with this BS? FS1 and ESPN2 are in virtually the same exact amount of homes only slightly over 6% difference. HBO is in what 17% more homes then showtime? Don't believe me see for yourself

So then why is Showtime pulling about HALF as many viewers for the same type of boxing programming if there is only a 17% difference in viewership?

Fury/Klitchko 1.038m and Joshua fight was a much bigger fight then the Fury fight. People using well they have fewer subscriptions is just lazy and ignorant because the difference is ratings is significantly higher then the subscriber data shows. There is more going on then just the difference in subscribers.

But on the flip side HBO just promoted Showtime's fighter Now they gotta get Showtime if they want to continue watching Joshua. But it was a great night for boxing.
HBO's saving grace is that their may be a rematch. And that was their play.

But if no rematch, the heavyweight division officially belongs to Showtime. Wilder, Ortiz and Joshua all play there. Fury will follow suit.

Do you expect HBO to do the same numbers as Thurman on CBS? Of course you don't. And the reason you don't is because CBS is in more homes than HBO. Funny how you can understand that when HBO numbers are lower

Blame that on boxing for not giving them the fights when they want it. I love my sport but I'm not going to be blind with what's happening.

HBO and Showtime are both premium cable with the same price model and neither have advertising/commercials. Comparing HBO to CBS is like comparing Hulu/netflix to CBS. They are totally different platforms. And what does this have to do with comparing two cable channels to each other? Nielsen ratings don't even put CBS and HBO on the same charts. CBS competes with network channels like NBC, ABC, FOX and you don't pay for those channels. HBO competes with Showtime you pay for them and don't see commercials because of that. But unfortunately for your argument the gap in subscribers don't match the drop off in showtime boxing ratings. Again it's ignorant to just say HBO has more subscribers. Yeah by 15-17% so why are the ratings half?

Speaking of Hulu & Netflix. Why do more people watch shows on Netflix than they to on Hulu?

I don't know and don't care. But showtime boxing numbers don't reflect where they stand in subscribers to HBO and the ratings prove that. But every time showtime has weak ratings your bs excuse well they just have less subscribers is lazy and igorant there is more going on.

Because Netflix has more subscribers. It's not rocket science

Honestly that is not a great number.
I was really hoping it would crack 1 million.
I hope the HBO numbers will be aroudn 1.5 million, but I doubt it.

I really feel Joshua should have signed with HBO and not Showtime.
Even thoug HBO budget is worse than Showtimes this year.
HBO has more viewers and market you better.

Anybody knows howmany fights Joshua has left with Showtime?
