wilder has that dangerous right hand that can end a fight and these are heavyweights so anything can happen , but technically joshua is leagues above wilder and would most likely end wilders dreams with his well timed right hand ....joshua showed every punch in the book saturday and that uppercut and combination punching is world class.

I agree, in fact I wrote that Wilder is a great athlete, not a great boxer. Indeed he has flaws. The only thing I would add is that, somehow, I feel that Wilder has a sturdier chin than Joshua. But I might be wrong on that. Then again, it's heavyweights... one punch can be enough for a "lights out".

Look up youtube videos, you'll see Wilder getting dropped in the amateurs. There's also some sparring footage of Wilder getting rocked and wobbled by David Haye in sparring. Lastly, there are rumors that Klitschko dropped and hurt Wilder in sparring as few years ago.
But Anthony Joshua as well has been hurt in the amateurs, hurt and rocked by Dillian Whyte. And rumored to be hurt in sparring a couple of times. And then we saw him get hurt against Klitschko. So yeah, I don't think neither man has an edge in the chin department.

At this point it's just which can land those big shots first. And like you agreed with, the more sound, technical, skillful fighter is likely the guy who is going to get the big shot in first.

Joshua will be a great champion and the Wilder fight and Fury fight will be great events. Fury when sober and off ******* and in shape probably stops Joshua. Heck Wilder might KO Joshua. But the UK came uot big time supporting Joshua with 90,000 great fans. England has no real pro sports so boxing gives the brits a real sport to cheer on.

This article is so biased or downright exaggerated. The fight was simply OK which is good for the heavyweight division nowadays. Joshua struggled too much against a man at least 14 years his junior and was knocked down. Vladimir moved well but not in the way the writer wrote. He should not drink while riding and watch the fight again. Kudos for Vladimir who can still fight and looks physically great.

This was the test for me this fight ive seen all his fights and heard he went down numerous times in sparring after whyte wobbled him was about his heart climbing of the canvas how he could deal with it and i think he showed heart a will to go with his awesome power speed and combos if he keeps improving i think he will become the best most exciting heavy in 30 years and hes such a classy guy to go with it no ego or arrogance genuine good guy at the top of the mountian think not just uk the world should embrace this boy hes a lesson on how a man should be

I'm sorry but it is definitely NOT the biggest fight to be made since Lewis-Tyson. Joshua-Klitschko was. How you think Joshua-Wilder will be bigger is beyond me. Klitschko was selling out 55k seat stadiums in Germany and selling out Madison Square Garden in the US. Wilder is struggling to fill seats in his hometown and state. And don't get me wrong because this is the fight that I most want to see in the heavyweight division and probably the best fight that can be made but I can't see it being bigger.

I don't know where you are from but here in the United States, the biggest and best Heavyweight fight that can be made is Joshua-Wilder.

In Germany and Europe Klitschko is popular but not here in America, Klitschko didn't sell out Madison Square Garden. Though he fought like a G this past Saturday. Looked really good.

Say what you will about Klitschko, but he never took the easy paths or ducked anyone. His goal was to become the 3 times world champion and he took one of the most difficult paths towards it. With his last performance he would have picked up WBO title from Parker in 4-5 rounds without breaking a sweat, but he didn't take the easy path. Another +1 to his Hall of Fame reputation. The guy is the legend and he proved it again on April 29. I hope he won't fight again and will let the younger generation beat each other senseless. He's got nothing to prove to anyone.

P.S. I still think a Klitschko of 5-6 years ago would have whooped AJ as of today. He "almost" did it and that "almost" is where the 14 years gap made a difference.
