Comments Thread For: Hearn: Time To Go Worldwide, Break New Markets WIth Joshua!

Anthony Joshua was hailed as "the biggest star in British sport and the biggest star in world boxing" after his exhilarating world heavyweight title triumph over Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday sky-rocketed him into the global sporting elite. It was funny to watch British fans booing Hearn when he took the mic.

But I hope we get these unification fights this year.

That fight comes down to who lands first. They both got flaws and the power to hurt each other. Joshua is more technically sound to me though plus Wlad is 10 times better than any one wilder has fought and he has had 2 times as many fights as AJ.

Well, if he's ready to travel, let's get Wilder vs. Joshua next! Someone call Dallas Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones! Let's go!

You on it. Wilder-Joshua is the biggie. Both are prime, undefeated belt holders with lights-out power. It's a stadium fight most def.

I'd like to see Ortiz get into the fray beforehand, because I feel he poses a greater threat to either man, but if Wilder-Joshua can be made now, no marinating necessary. And there's no way I'd even consider flaky Fury until he first commits to winning a comeback fight.

Ridiculous to even mention Mayweather vs Pacquiao in a discussion about a 1.5 million PPV that sold for about $20 per buy. Joshua's and Klitschko's total money is what Pacquiao gets as a guarantee before the PPV percentage. Joshua is a rising star but the hype and hyperbole is getting a little silly after one fight. That's what wrong these days, rush to coronation before anything has been proven.
