I think he is a top contender and one of the best heavyweights. I don't think he is a sure thing to beat Wilder, Fury or AJ.I would favor AJ to beat him and Wilder vs Ortiz is an even fight in my opinion.

I often laugh when people say FM was a runner and all he did was flee from fights. Lara is guilty of this a lot too.

Scott however, had no desire to fight against Luis and he showed it. He literally was too slow and probably old to do much to him. Maybe his thoughts were on the KO but he had pretty much refused to really fight Ortiz.

Thats the thing about age in boxing. Bernard looked better at 41, than Floyd did at 36. Morales looked shot at 30? I think that was the age. Wlad last night looked amazing. People all age differently so we just don't know

I'm no more impressed with Ortiz than I am old man Briggs. Big, slow, easy to hit, and telegraphed.

He beats AJ, Wlad, and Wilder for sure.

An in shape Fury VS Ortiz would have been interesting.

I think hes kind of slipped since the jennings fight. I want to see him face someone like wilder or joshua though, hard to tell how good he is when hes never fighting the top guys. Im tired of all the speculation i want to see it.

His age has been showing he's up there in the 40s not looking sharp against the last two bums he fought , at this point wilder probably beats him and joshua easily handles him. I still think Parker is giant joke so he would probably spark Parker.

That is why all those hws want his scalp on their resume. Lets see if he fight him next. Ortiz already say he wouldn't take step aside money. whatever happens I'll enjoy this fight...
