HW fighting is about entertainment though. It's the only weight class that can get away with because you're dealing 6'3+ fighters who are heavy and slow on their feet and have huge power and who generally have poor stamina. That's what you pay to see. You don't pay to see guys dancing around and throwing combinations.

The plot and dialogue is good but the actual boxing is hilariously terrible. I didn't see Creed though, maybe they upgraded it a bit.

I think most people watching the lower weights fail to realize Heavyweights are incapable of showing off the subtle skillsets of a Floyd or a Pernell. This wasn't a 'slugfest' like Gatti/Ward, this was actually a very skilled heavyweight fight. Mistakes were made, but the reason neither side could full take advantage was because Wlad was too skilled and quickly covered his own mistakes in time, AJ was simply too athletic and covered up his missteps with quick reaction times.

This wasn't two guys hitting each other Rocky style, this was two skilled fighters fighting in bursts..........Fans are excited because with all due respect to 150 Pound Floyd, in order for boxing to be mainstream again. You need Heavyweights at the flagship.
