Let's be honest the fight was only competitive because AJ was so inexperienced and didn't know how to pace himself. Once he got his 2nd win he shut out Wlad.
Dude i expected him to get kod early. He was coming off a year layoff at 41 and was boxing him up and dropped him.

AJ was dominating him until he gassed, he stopped throwing and Wlad came on. That's 100% due to inexperience, he'd never gone a full 12 and didn't know how to pace himself. Once he recovered his stamina in round 9 he came back right quick.

Great fight. Huge props to both fighters. Wlad showed tremendous heart to stay in it after the KD and take advantage of Joshua's exhaustion, and Joshua showed the same to recover and end it.

That ended up pretty freaking amazing.

Big credit to Joshua, the guy bit down and fought hard. We know a lot more about him now.

He cemented himself as a top 5 heavyweight for me today. Absolutely beautiful performance by Wladmir.
