I'm all for having an "A" side and "B" side, but when the A side starts to ask for ridiculous things (choosing gloves, a ridiculous ring size to accommodate their fighting styles, etc.) that's when it gets ******.

Another thing, the only real time the A and B side thing gets to be a problem is when there's a debate (whether it be from the fighters or promoters) as to who the actual A side is. That's annoying as all hell

Most people probably don't understand why boxing fans love the sport They see the greedy promoters, the corrupt commissions, weak refs, terrible judges and some prima donna fighters and say WTF, give me the NBA.
But the people who love the sport overlook all that stuff because they know when a big fight lives up to the hype it's the best spectacle in sports.

I've heard many people express similar sentiment. I'd be interested to know how small a number of people actually buy ppvs consistently. The numbers are probably mostly made up by casuals who get ****** in by the promotion and have buyer's remorse. People always say **** like "yea but they keep buying his ppvs" when talking about mayweather. A good portion of those people get turned off and never buy them again...I've seen it just with people i know. I used to watch ppvs with upwards of 30 people...we'd have to get 2 big screens going and bring in extra seating. Over the years it became less and less, and after the may vs pac, it's down to 2 of us.

Everyone basically says the same thing.

mayweather - oscar did this and that to me so I do it to others.

canelo - mayweather did it to me so i do it to others.

others fighters dont necessary say it but they do it.

                Let's counter the question.

If you were in that ring and you were the A-Side, you would do the same damn thing and you know it.
