GGG & K2 risking looking like f#cking dummies if Oscar passes them by again. And from the sounds of it Oscar is dying to find a reason to bypass GGG despite more people then ever feeling like Canelo wins.

GGG options Canelo, Saunders, rematch Jacobs. Hopefully Jermall Charlo becomes his mandatory after beating someone worthy. Chavez Jr if he wins.

I don't think getting stripped of the IBF would do good for him. Jacobs had his chance, he fell short and now its back to the line with him

He's doing what he's told to do, what Oscar said. Now they are recognizing that they are not the "A" side.
But if they (Canelo/Jr) have an exciting fight and sell a bunch of ppv's, why not re-match, on mexican independance day in Sep (Trips will wait until next Cinco De Mayo for his "big drama show" and be 35 yrs old with a year off before the fight. While Canelo will be getting more comfortable at that weight.

He's falling for it. This is going May-Pac real fast, but at least the two are actually cancelling out on the negotiations for legit reasons but GOlovkin is just getting leashed around by Oscar.

Alvarez wants the fight. He's at the threshold from media inquiry and fans, and it only makes sense for them Fight this year as Alvarez has already said numerous times to media that they are waiting for "them to sign" while fans are criticizing K2 and gennady not accepting an 8 digit offer. If you want the fight do it.

Thing is, when that All Star fee is technically deducted Or garnished while Chavez vs Alavrez does 1 million PPV. Is Oscar going to convince Nelo to make another Mexican day weekend rematch or go with the low number PPvS that were Gennady and Jacobs.

Exactly what are K2 waiting for? Oh that's right. Oscar told Tom they will continue negotiations after the Chavez Jr bout which Tom is hoping for positive next steps. Tom already admitted who the A side was, and Tom has no power with drawing splits.

So is it all worth it? Do the Gennady fans really want to risk their Kazakh getting KO'd by the more battle tested Alvarez or just have admitted that they could not afford the WBO fight? Why wasn't the narrative in the U.K. As an alternative vs Astana?

Why does Tom come off like everything is fine while K2 fans eat it all up? Oh that's right, Tom has actually been more happy with his role in the Joshua vs Klitshcko fight. At least that's something to really boast about.

Isn't there a rematch clause if Chavez wins?

Like I said before, one tough fight and they shut him down. They don't want to risk losing that Canelo payday. The plan was to fight 3-4 bums a year until they got the Canelo fight.
