You thinking they're ducking BJS because of how close the Jacobs fight was (what do those two have anything to do with one another anyway?) is just opinion and conjecture, nothing more. The Canelo fight has been his top priority for the last two years, and he felt he had to cancel the Saunders clash to get ASAP. Dela Hoya even said if Golovkin fought in June, the fight with Canelo wouldn't happen in 2017. Golovkin and his team weighed their options, and made a decision.

And you're acting like he can't still unify the titles later, which he can.

We still believing nobody wants to fight GGG? Or has that gone out the window with the myth he wants to be undisputed?

Im getting mixed stories on this part. I know for a fact that an IBF mando is due, and based on the technical reading of the IBF rules, if GGG fights Canelo next then he might get stripped of the IBF title.

But I was talking to Rafael the other day and he said that Derevyanchenko may request an eliminator with T. Johnson. If that happens, then it might give GGG the window to fight Canelo without getting stripped.

We will have to see what Lindsey Tucker does.......

If he needs the rest why not delay the fight? BJS is fighting in July so a delay wasn't out of the question. This has nothing to do with an injury. They don't want to have another close call and lose.

When BJS doesn't want to fight GGG he's ducking. When GGG doesn't want to fight BJS it's not a duck because he would've beat him anyway. Seems legit

Most DON'T want to fight GGG. As in, nearly every top guy of the division is ducking, or at least was. Jacobs himself held the fight off until he could get more money, and then skipped the second day weigh-in so that he could try and come into the fight with a size advantage. Eubanks and others cashed themselves out. BJS I'm not sure on, but it seems he grew more confident after witnessing Jacobs do much better than expected.

I'm sure Jacobs' performance has made the rest of the division feel more sure of their chances against Golovkin now, but let's not pretend everyone was rushing to get apiece before.

Jacobs didn't hold up the fight. It was Loeffler who asked for a two week extension that turned into a month and the WBA had to set a new purse bid date to get them to come to terms with Jacobs. Don't try to rewrite history. It wasn't that long ago. So when BJS didn't want to fight him it was ducking. Now he doesn't want to fight BJS it's not ducking. It's an automatic win because he would've beat BJS anyway. Yea, ok whatever. It's a duck bottom line

From the horse's mouth, glad to finally hear their plan, not too glad they did not go for that WBO belt but it is what it is.

Really hoping Canelo vs GGG gets made by Sep. the fight needs to happen right now.
