Started with 1,2 million... then down to 400 000 after Porter, unable to outbox Berto, started humping him. Shawn "humptime" Porter.

SHO paid $2.2 million for that main event?

        That's money well spent.

Showtime needs beg Lara and put up more money for Lara-Andrade if they want to get their ratings up.

Maybe Im strange, but why do ratings matter? Who cares, really? Obviously, some people on this forum do, but why? Even if the ratings are very low, as long as they put Fights on TV for us to Watch, who cares if our neighbors are Watching or not? Let's just enjoy Watching The Fights we want to. At least thats how I see it....

Really really ******. What's Al going to do if Showtime says no? PBC is dead broke. The only cards they are doing these days are FS1 and Bounce cards. Spike dipped. NBC/NBCSN hasn't had a card since 2016 and don't have anything on the horizon for 2017. Same for ESPN. They are left with sticking their prospects on FS1 and Bounce and praying for the odd card on FOX or CBS. The PBC experiment failed. Almost $1B down the toilet. When will Espinoza realize that he has all the power now?

The sad part is the whole PBC experiment totally killed showtime boxing. Look at the ratings guys were doing BEFORE PBC launched and what those same guys are drawing now that they are all crawling back to showtime. Haymon taking away all showtime fighters leaving them with months and months without programming literally cost showtime about half their viewers who still have not come back.

A guy like wilder drew 1.2m viewers on showtime right before PBC. He coming back doing just 500k viewers. Showtime boxing is the collateral damage from PBC disaster.

It's reminiscent of the Greenberg and Davis era at HBO...bidding against themselves for Haymon fights nobody cares about.

                      $1.2 million for Berto?
