    misleading headline

Lara and Andrade's camps are in talks, the talks have progressed to the point that money is being worked out, and Andrade's current ask (as far as Lara knows) is for more money than is currently being offered.

The camps will continue, things are currently likely about 10 weeks away from the likely fight night, and we'll see if the talks are fruitful in a few weeks at the most.

Lara-Andrade, paired with Erickson Lubin's next fight (and other Florida-based prospects), and you've got a night of fights that you can take to primetime FOX with little issue (while being beyond a big enough doubleheader for ESPN or SpikeTV).

Either way wtf just f#cking figure it out & f#cking fight. Always with this marinating & money bs. Its boxing...f#cking box top guys.
If I had to guess, there's likely $1.5m to split between the two of them. Give it some time, lol

I dont know if I can classify ANY fighter as overpaid for taking punches to the HEAD.

Until the details of the split is revealed all you and i are doing is speculating and blaming/casting aspersion on the fighter you do not like.

I wonder how much any of these were paid: J Rock, Charles Hatley, Curtis Stevens for their efforts!!

Andrade has a history of pricing himself out of fights. I'm inclined to believe Lara here.

I hope this fight happens so we can finally find out what Andrade has. While he's had some very pretty performances in his career, his two title wins (Martirosyan, Culcay) did not impress me. I wonder if a fighter like Lara would elevate Andrade's game to an elite level or if Lara would expose Andrade's limitations.

Either way, Andrade is the interesting part of their would-be fight.

Yeah.. Andrade is the money generator in this fight, not Lara. Him talking like he's the A Side is ***in laughable. 'priced himself out'? More like Lara did.

Lara vs Vanes II was the second highest viewed fight on Showtime in 2016. And Lara vs Foreman was the third highest viewed fight on "free cable" since 2016.

Lara has a world title. Andrade doesn't. Simple.

We also don't have any financial details. Stop assuming stuff.
Are you really dumb enough to try and spin it like Lara is any kind of draw? I said empty arenas you post a video when PBC gave free tickets out to people in Florida in a small make shift tent NOT an arena and you left out the fact they all left before the main event when Lara fought. Show the actual fight video where there were only a couple hundred fans who stayed I know this because he got clowned for this same fight on these forums because the crowd ******.

As for ratings Lara vs Vanes II drew 491k terrible ratings during the worst tailspin in ratings from showtime. The worst boxing after dark fights on HBO do better then this.

Lara/Foreman was in 2017 NOT 2016 and did 547k which is garbage for SPIKE and was the final straw for them to pull the plug on PBC. Bellator fights with unknown prospects draw higher ratings on spike. Broner and khan drew almost 900k viewers on spike. 500k is shyt reruns of cops do better then that. You comparing these ratings to shyt ratings on showtime, and shyt PBC ratings on spike to pretend like these are not bad ratings instead of actually comparing it to successful programming. Even the biggest Lara fans don't make the case that he is a draw. You have to give away free tickets and still they might not stick around to watch him fight.
