Hands down, Mayweather is the best of his era.

Though I do think he dodged a lot of fighters in their prime and fighting them later but you can't deny that he's not the best fighter of his generation because he accomplished a lot.

I also think he juiced with the IV scandal vs Pacquiao. But you still got to give him credit, hes a technician in the ring and the best defensive fighter ever in boxing history

Gtfoh....maidana, ortiz and guerrero were threats at the time he fought them. I remember when the floyd haters and pacf@g were hyping up a ortiz vs pacman showdown right after ortiz beat berto. Jmm was a statement fight to pacquiao and tune up from a 2 year layoff. Mosley, jones and hopkins lost! point blank period.... and all will be ranked lower than floyd on any objective atg list. I asked you who has fought better opposition and won all their fights....you still haven't answered.
Who has Thurman beaten? Lmao. He's beaten everybody they put in front of him including Ghost, who was such the threat (lol). Maidana ducked him, the same Maidana that Floyd fought 2x mind you. Beat undefeated, prime Garcia to become a unified, 2 belt champ right now so he proved he has the goods. Had Floyd took a risk and beat him instead of Berto, he would get major props just off of where Thurman is in the game right now. The same props I give him for beating Alvarez.

What has Ghost, Maidana, and Ortiz done since losing to Floyd? Not a damn thing. Nothing more than one dimensional, paper champs that Floyd could exploit for a check, and you sitting here trying to pass these guys off as threats. At least Khan would have been a style matchup that we hadn't seen Floyd go up against since Judah, and Floyd never could seem to fit Khan in the dance schedule, despite Khan winning that poll, and calling out the man like he stole something from him.

And it should be obvious by now I could care less about Floyd never losing, and how many times Hop, Roy, and Shane lost, those guys easily could have ducked guys they knew would be the worst style matchups just like Floyd and never caught an L imo.

You'd be better served propping up Manny, Cotto, Alvarez, and Marquez.

Marciano was a bum that fought an entire career of cherry picked opponents!!!

lol at you.....you have so many different rules for floyd its hilarious.....you over here propping up a guy who struggled with Floyd's leftovers and fought the same type of dudes come forward brawlers you accuse floyd of fighting. Thurman hasn't proved anything according to your standard. I don't know how many times this has to be said..... Berto was a victory lap farewell fight. He had beaten the best at 147 and 154 already. He had nothing to prove because he had already proven he was the greatest of his time. Thurman hadn't done **** at ww by the time floyd retire because didn't fight anyone of note until then. Mandatory? Who goves a **** about a mando for the belt...floyd was bigger than the belt which is why the organizations let floyd fight who he wanted( which was the best fighter for the biggest payday 95% of the time). Beating bums to become Floyd's mando means nothing.

Anyone who calls any professional fighter a bum is not a real fan of the sport and likely has never stepped into a ring themselves.

I don't believe in victory farewell laps.

Beating bums to become Floyd's mando means nothing? Hell tell Berto that. Berto couldn't even beat Khan in a poll but he got Floyd.

S**t on the dude all ya want, but Thurman earned a legit shot @ Floyd, he was as mandatory as any of the other tissue paper champs Floyd made easy paydays with, and HIS style would have been a welcome breath of fresh air from all the plodders and senior citizens Floyd was hugging up on.

"Senior citizens and plodders" yet you cant name a fighter with a better resume since his Hatton fight. And **** what YOU believe in....floyd earned the berto fight by beating everone who was relevant. The nerve of you hyping up Thurman lol.....we talking about a guy who consistantly goes life and death with shot, slow come foward brawlers......he won't fight anyone with a pulse cause he'd get clipped. Find a different fighter cause thurman was never the one.
