I see Porter's side to it, but to me you gotta do more than beat Andre Berto (although apparently not in the eyes of the abc group since I believe Porter is now a mandatory).

Plus lets be real Thurman probably doesn't plan on fighting again til Jan. 2018. Thurman's been one of the most PBC-hyped guys so one would think he could fight as much as he wanted yet he's only fought 3 times in the last 2 years. So that being the case Porter might as well get another fight or two in.

Personally I'd much rather see some fights between Manny, Thurman & the Brook vs Spence winner next time out if any of those fights can be made. But Porter is just under those guys so I couldn't hate on him being in play for any of these guys or hate on seeing Thurman vs Porter II if none of those top tier fights are makeable.

Thurman just wants to move on and I don't think fans generally speaking is that interested in a rematch.

I thought they should have rematched anyway I had porter winning the first fight.

in this case its to soon to do a rematch. i'd like to see Porter vs garcia. Thurman should defend against Peterson. then unify against the brook-spence winner

Danny Garcia wants his rematch also, so maybe he should fight Porter next and the winner faces Thurman as the #1 mandatory. Porter and Spence look to be the hungriest contenders at welterweight ATM.

Porter Garcia would be a nice fight.

Showtime is another level, Lamont Peterson gets wrecked! nobody at 147 wants this inside work! these fans are cry-babies; they complain how Porter is a dirty fighter but refuse to appreciate the technique or don't understand it for that matter. My boy goes to war entertaining the fans but these haters have to find something to complain about.

They know Porter is a beast they don't want their fighter risking that L.

I think they're on a pretty even level with Lamont being the more versatile fighter. He can box and ****. Both guys got a tremendous motor on them too.

Great fight! I love to see it. Lamont takes to many rounds off and Porter is the bigger man at welter -- maybe even faster. I see 'Showtime' getting a TKO win.

Unfortunately this fight seems years away because they both got your boy Keiph 'Runtime' Thurman next hehehehe! good luck.
