I don't mind him shouting for a rematch as any fighter should but he sounded delusional as hell during the post fight interview. No one is shouting from the rooftops for a rematch.

Porter has only a nodding acquaintance with the sweet science of boxing. He is basically a mauler who uses his head as a cleverly disguised weapon. With the exception of the head part, he fights a bit like Gene Fulmer. It is an effective style, but not particularly artful.

Porter head butts his way to one win and now it's the fight everyone wants to see again? Nah. Rather see Thurman against Peterson or another champion. He should do a Twitter poll like Pac to see who the fans want. It won't be Porter.

They have absolutely no shame. Worst alphabet group out there.

I don't know what fans he's talking about, but I don't want to see that rematch. Actually I don't want to see any of his fights. He has an ugly, mauling style. I can't remember enjoying any fight that he was involved in. The guy even smothers his own work on the inside. Porter uses ineffective aggression. Very ugly. No Thanks!

Thurman doesn't really want to fight. Thurman said he wanted to fight in November which would mean 2 fights in 2017 after only fighting once in 2016. Thurman talks more than he fights. He has a great win and then follows it up by taking months off supposedly needing more time to recover. He just fought in March, he could be fighting Peterson in July and then position himself to fight Brook/Spence or Porter to finish the year.

It's not just Thurman a lot of fighters these days only fight once or twice a year. The days of 3 or more fights a year for an elite fighter are long gone.

Want to see Thurman fight someone else first before Porter again!

Amir Khan been running his mouth about fighting Thurman, do that fight next! Since Thurman not returning until November that is plenty of time for Khan after Ramadan so it make sense to me to do Thurman vs Khan in November

Porter had his chance against Thurman and came up short. He is not owed an immediate rematch & should just shut up & get in line. Maybe he can take some time and actually learn how to box, because that BS style he displayed Saturday was fucking disgusting!
