LMFAO i cant believe I heard that. Fight like Lara or Mayweather. They used there feet not reaxh to over come canelo as well as speed and skill. Three things Chavez jr has non of. He is a hit me all night and please stand there so i can hit you baxk type of guy. As we learned with Canelo he learned so much from the Mayweather fight has his defence has jumped 200% sense that fight. His offense was always good. I see a late ko from chavez mentally just giving up or a UD for Canelo. Chavez just does not put his punches together which will not trouble Canelo. Canelo's head movement and upper body will frustrate Chavez. His combos will also with power will be a issue for Chavez. Yes he has reach and height but look what Sergio Martinez did to Chavez. I see that all over but Canelo has a chin and hits a lot better then Sergio did.

See? All these fighters are jumping on the TBE bandwagon: do just enough to win rounds and no more.

Use Lara and Mayweather tactics? Wtf, I guess Nacho is setting Chavez up to get knocked out.

Certain fighters are able to utilize different styles, but to ask a slow footed and fisted guy like Chavez to be like those guys is nuts. Play to Chavez's strengths, like relentlessness, pressure, constant body punching, and his heart. His only chance to beat Canelo is to wear him out, body him constantly with pressure, body punches and plain relentlessness.

If he tries to use Lara or Mayweathers style he's getting ***d up.

do just enough not to get destroyed which creates enough doubt that you can claim you won the fight and move on. repeat! sven ottke invented this trick and now lots of people use it. he doesnt get enough credit.

but nacho has been working with him for months now. he knows hes not good at those by now. hes never been a relentless pressure fighter or body puncher. nacho knows its hopeless so hes panicking and just throwing anythin against the wall and hoping it sticks.

                  Thinking the same!

but I cannot see Chavez being able to apply what Nacho wants him to do for 12 rounds.

I agree .... but I cannot see it lasting more than a few rounds if that .... then we will see Chavez fighting like we expect to see him BUT as you said, if they are focusing on the WRONG things, it will not be helpful for Chavez ... just a waist of a training camp.

                    Lets see though ....
