  • The Best Possible Ending to Chico Castillo 3?

A draw. That is the best ending. Again, you guys can say what you want about Floyd but Hatton has 1 fight at 147 and now wants to fight a lightweight in his next fight, while at the same time Floyd wants to fight Oscar at 154 and he just fought at 160.

Also I read a Harold Lederman interview and he said the same thing as me. People are making a big deal about Hatton at 147 and his weight but he walks around at a 180 pounds or more and Floyd walks around at 149. Floyd comes into a 147 pound fight weighing 146 while Hatton weighs 158 but guys continue to say that the weight is too much for Hatton but not for Floyd? Its a joke. Floyd is the one who has no business being there but he's good enough to do it and now has the nerve to go to 154 while Hatton is running back down. Floyd has a small stature and will never carry alot of weight, while Hatton is always big.

Hatton didnt struggle because of weight, he struggled because he fought the best or 2nd best guy he ever has. He's just like Margarito. These guys look great at there division because there much bigger then everyone and can bully them but when they move up just one weight class they make excuses because they cant bully those guys the same way or win strictly just because there bigger. Margarito gets pushed around by a soft no KO punch guy like Santos and Hatton gets pushed around by a soft no KO punch guy like Callazo.

Hatton & Cotto both want to fight to fight the winner of Chico & Castillo but obviously only one will get the wish. Whoever doesnt get it then who will they fight? Cotto will have no one to fight and Hatton will have no one except for Margarito or a Callazo rematch and you no he wants neither of them. Thats why the best thing is for Chico & Castillo to have a draw. Each of them won by KO and it would be a fitting ending. Then we could have one of them fight Cotto and the other fight Hatton. Those would be 2 awesome fights that would be great for boxing and I like both of the lightweights chances no matter who they fight. You just hope they dont take it all out of eacother in this final fight

To me, it would be Chico finally using his physical advantages and outboxing Castillo on the way to a dominatiing 12 round UD.

what r u talking about? think a little please. tony had santos against the ropes the whole fight and a quick left hook that he didnt see stunned him but he regained his wits in about 2.5 sec and kept punching while santos was looking like the beaten fighter. u probably havent even seen the fight and are talkin out your ass. i dont see anyone else complaining about zab moving up to 154. thats cuz his best weight is 147 like tony's is. stop hating and respect what he does.

A great competetive fight for about 8 rounds or so, but a fight that ends with a TKO victory for Castillo.

I don't feel as if Corrales has as much to offer anymore. The Castillo/Cotto mega-fight looming on the horizon is desirable for everyone.

Arum said to a local newspaper here in Puerto Rico that although the most probable scenario is a Castillo vs. Cotto fight, that there is a slim possibility that he makes a "tournament" with the winner of (Hatton vs. Castillo) fighting the winner of a (Cotto vs. Gatti) fight.

Justice. AKA Corrales getting another knockout win.

Completely agree, while the first fight was an excellent slugfest, I don't want to see Corrales go through that again. It took a toll on him, and another beating like that could end up much worse for Corrales especially with Castillo preparing his big punches, knowing how the first fight went, knowing Corrales just might bring it to him so you know he'll be punching with more force because he'll train harder, it was the fight of his life (the first bout)

but castillo has forged an entire career of cutting off the ring and making boxers fight his fight so...i think corrales has a better chance on the inside, albeit the riskier decision

I dont want it to end with a TKO at all. I want chico to KO carrales in the 12 round.

Picture this ending: The entire fight, carrales is getting wooped. Not enough for a KO or anything.

kinda like the way mayweather beat castillo the second time, but the oppostite. Carrales is losing on all the score cards going in to round 12.

but in the final 3 seconds of round 12, Carrales lands a huge left hook that sends Castillo down. He attempts to make it up by the ten count, but falls back down when he gets up. How great an ending would that be.

That would sum up what this whole trilogy was about. id be amazed and stunned.

And i love that video in ur signature. i remember when Julio cesar chavez was on FNF late in his career (i think it was one of his final fights) and he broke his right hand in the 11th. he won the rest of that round and the 12th round with his left hand only. it was awsome.
