No sense in defending the IBF madatory. The only reason he was holding onto that belt was because he claimed he wanted to unify the division. Now that we know that isn't true he needs to run that fight back with Jacobs. After the Jacobs fight everybody was cool with him fighting BJS for the unification, then Canelo, and then Jacobs. Now that he doesn't want to unify and become undisputed it's time to stop defending the belts like the IBF. He can still break Hopkins record by defending the WBC and WBA.
If GGG doesn't get the Canelo fight he needs to fight Jacobs. Bottom line

The whole point of defending that IBF mandatory against people like Wade was so he could get all 4 belts. Now that he doesn't want all 4 belts it's time to drop that belt and stop fighting those weak mandatory's. The IBF MW doesn't have a Spence type fighter in their rankings.Comment

Plus if he can't land Canelo, Jacobs is where he'll get the biggest payday. The whole point of defending that IBF mandatory against people like Wade was so he could get all 4 belts. Why are you mentioning Canelo when the title clearly states if he doesn't get Canelo the next fight? You're too transparent not wanting to see him fight Jacobs againComment
