I don't mind seeing a unification of all belts but just not with Saunders, not yet. If Khurt beats Saunders which I really hope he does, then i'd say the GGG/Canelo winner should fight the Khurt. GGG vs Saunders just seems so cheap. This is really Saunders fight to prove that he's legit, if he beats Khurt fair and square i'd respect a GGG/Canelo vs Saunders fight.

Canelo is not fighting Golovkin.

For these reasons:

1.He doesn't have to.....he gets paid regardless who or what he fights..People will pay to see him play with his dogs on his Estate grounds.

2.He'd get his little 5'7 ass whipped.

Looking at it from the team Canelo POV, I think they see a guy who has lost his mojo and the last thing they want him to do is have a tune up fight and find it. I think they might see a vulnerable fighter. And maybe in fact they have communicated a more robust interest in making the fight to team Golovkin. I think we all mostly agree that the primary driver is money and the rest is mostly smoke and mirrors. And/or gross incompetence.
