    Canelo is not fighting Golovkin.

    For these reasons:

1.He doesn't have to.....he gets paid regardless who or what he fights..People will pay to see him play with his dogs on his Estate grounds.

2.He'd get his little 5'7 ass whipped.

    • Looking at it from the team Canelo POV, I think they see a guy who has lost his mojo and the last thing they want him to do is have a tune up fight and find it. I think they might see a vulnerable fighter. And maybe in fact they have communicated a more robust interest in making the fight to team Golovkin. I think we all mostly agree that the primary driver is money and the rest is mostly smoke and mirrors. And/or gross incompetence.

Canelo is not a career MW like Jacobs.

        He's not Jacobs....can't beat Jacobs.

GGG has been fading for a while...i called it long ago...but he's not faded to the point something like Canelito could beat him.

youre the one reaching, thinking that any pro fighter (besides Saunders) would openly doubt himself and claim someone was "too much" in the context that they couldnt beat them. That is the meaning that only YOU and a few other morons have assigned to the statement.

Believe me, if someone asked me about debating with Kigali, and my response was "that clown is too much", it would NOT be because I thought you were more than I can handle.

GGG speaks english well enough to say Ward won't work with him.

He said Ward was too much for him and he meant it literally....so you can stop with your psychoanalysis Dr Freud

              It's in broken English.

                Bingo!

                It was in broken English.

As if he'd have admitted that he couldn't beat Andre because he was too much for him.

He admitted in broken English that Ward....the American.... was too much for him.

                    No, you're getting desperate.

                    Go and rewatch the interview.

You said he was deluded with the Canelo negotiations. So why would he publicly admit that he couldn't beat Ward because he was too much for him?

He's ultra confident with a huge ego.
