this will turn into a thread trashing khan when the usual suspects get in but i'd like to see the fight, khans a world level operator. he wins some, he loses some but hes in entertaining fights and fights consistently good opposition. would be a fight i'd like to see.

He is 6-3 in world championship fights, ranging from 140-160. I have discounted wbc silver title fights lol

One of those 3 losses was a robbery, the loss to DG was a great fight and DG would go onto cement himself as the best and become a 2 weight champ. The loss to Canelo is ... well it is what it is but let's not forget Khan was winning.

So you're right, Khan is world class and I'd love to see this happen BUT he has not fought at welter since 2015. I'd rather he earn the shot. He needs to posisbly face Berto, rematch DG and then next year face whoever is champ.

Plus his body has been through a massive training camp for a fight that never happened. He needs to rest and rehabilitate a bit.

Thurman doesn't seem like he's interested in Porter ll. He gave some lip service, let our teams talk about it. That's his way out . The money wasn't right.
