And your favorite fighter is FLOYD who is fighting dirty using elbows, hug and run all the time inside the ring.

I always respect a winner so I respect Shawn for doing whatever it took to win the fight tonight, yes he was rough and yes his style resulted in a lot of the accidental headbutts and in the fight being not so great to watch, but the way he integrates these rough house tactics into his style gives him a lot of oppurtunities to land a lot of punches, he even outjabbed Berto by a big margin and he used that jab very effectively to get on the inside and do his things with his shorter height and arms.

Berto on the other hand wasn't mentally prepared for that kind of fight and I don't think they worked hard enough on fighting off the ropes and neutralizing Shawn's bullrushing style, plus he kept on walking into the ropes a lot and never used any effective pivoting/ footwork to get off the ropes, no check hooks and no counter punches, he was always a step behind Shawn and Shawn's feints and jabs froze him up a lot. Berto can still give some great fights but he will never be a champ again in that era, I think all the top welterweights beat him in exciting fights. Virgil's instructions between rounds didn't really impress me, no concrete advice just very generalvague statements.

Porter earned his rematch but I think Keith is looking fight PAC in the fall and I can't blame him.

Keith should have more aggressively called out Manny. That is the best fight in the division right now. Force Manny and bob to refuse in public. Then make porter 2 if there is nothing else. I did like the jab about him looking to fight again in November since he knows that's when Manny is likely to fight next.

          Thurman/Manny ( or porter2)winner v brook/spence winner in April or may 2018.

Anyone else disappointed that Thurman says he's looking to come back in November? Jesus, what's with these young guys fighting if we are lucky twice a year. He needs 8 months off between fights? He could fight Lamont in July and still fight in Jan-Feb and make it 3 fights in a years time. I'd love to see the PAC fight in November if he's holding off, would be a disappointment waiting and then just seeing the Peterson fight

peterson is a great boxer i would pick him to beat porter... He is also bigger so it would be harder for porter to hug him all night

He was on Showtime's airwaves last night and it might be a touchy subject to mention a fighter from another network too much.

But I agree with you. Thurman should be dropping the Pacquiao name every time he gets in front of a microphone. Force Arum and Pac to respond to the public call outs, then have them explain why they are making fights with Jeff Horn instead.
