Porter is a grimy fighter no doubt, still he is really effective with his dirty boxing and it is a style that is very hard to actually deal with. It can make some fights really hard to watch, but at least he does attack fairly effectively most of the time and he is open to getting hit as well.

If you go in there with a weak tie-up game against Porter it is probably going to cost you the fight. Tying up is something people hate but if you are going to fight a guy like Porter it is something that can't be neglected if you want to really win anyway.
