People need to stop this nonsense.

Intentionally missing weight and hitting someone with over 80 low blows are not 'excuses'. He was allowed to cheat in truly disgraceful fashion.

Gamboa was a seasoned pro who paid Salido back for every dirty trick he used. Lomachenko has pro experience now, he'll easily deal with Salido in a rematch.

And that's fine and dandy. But fact still remains that he lost the 1st time. You're acting like Salido turned dirty overnight against Lomachenko. If you're saying Loma was too green then that's his own damn fault for being gifted a shot at a title that early. Lomachenko owned up to his mistakes, but you fans seem to be making excuses. You're acting like what ended the Garcia-Salido fight wasn't a foul. Only difference was that Garcia handled Salido EASILY, despite the dirty tactics. I don't recall Garcia getting dirty with Salido, he simply outboxed the crap out of him. Something Lomachenko should have been able to do against a far MORE aged and beaten version of Salido.

It's a bit troubling the Linares fight isn't being talked about more since it seemed solidified that that was next.

Lomachenko is classy, him not complaining doesn't justify it. It wouldn't change anything anyway.

Salido has always been dirty, but you show me any other fight where he's been allowed to be that dirty. Intentionally missing weight, 80+ low blows, headbutts, without a single point deduction or warning.

He fouled Garcia once and Garcia was happy to have the fight stopped. Garcia looked great early, but Salido was starting to get to him and make it tough and then Garcia showed zero indication of wanting to continue...that fight was getting very interesting.

Part was inexperience on his own part, but even then, he still wins the fight if not for an obscene amount of cheating.
