I have to disagree with Canelo, not saying he was actually intimidated, but the fight with GGG didn't happen for a reason. At that time GGG looked damn near unbeatable, he was KOing everyone and looked upstoppable, lately GGG has looked more vulnerable against Brook and Jacobs.

TBH, the Golovkin-Canelo fight should've happened last year in September. That was the best time for it to happen. Going back down to 154 then up to 164.5 could have been avoided if both Canelo and Triple G fought last September.

But hopefully it will happen this fall before the year is out.
