nope. the ibf is just very strict about enforcing their mandatories. they stripped fury quick as hell too at least they are consistent with their rules unlike those buffoons over at the wba and wbc.

If this happens to either him or Klitschko, this belt shouldn't even be recognized anymore. That organization is scared being a lesser matter. And yes, I can blame it.

It's not possible. The orgs have a rotation system and if you have two mandatories due, you won't be stripped as long as you fight the mandatory next up in the rotation.

Unified champion should have unified mandatories. Let the #1 contender of each organisation fight each other.
I agree with this 100%. The WBC & WBA have discussed this and I really hope they come to an agreement to have their mandatories fight each other when there is a unified WBC/WBA champion.

And it also makes it tougher for someone to duck their mandatory knowing it's a double mandatory and you'd have to give up BOTH of your belts.

Stop recognizing so many belts. Nobody forced you to recognize the WBO and IBF.

The WBC & WBA titles have the IBU/NYSAC/NBA lineage and therefore are the real world championships dating back a hundred years.

And if the boxing world only recognized the WBC & WBA, undisputed titles would become a common occurrence.

You're an idiot. He beat Chisora fair and square in an official IBF eliminator and has been waiting a year for his title shot. How much longer is he supposed to wait?

He's beating corpses to stay busy while he waits for his guaranteed title shot.

The IBF is the most honest and ethical sanctioning body, by far, and having dirt on them gets you nowhere.

No, you are dumb as dog ****. The IBF mandatory was overdue. In the interest of maintaining the unified title, the IBF allowed Klitschko to make his WBO mandatory first (Fury), on the condition that both fighters agreed that the winner would face the long overdue IBF mandatory.

Klitschko & Fury both promised the IBF that if they won, they would fight the IBF mandatory next.

They lied to the IBF, Fury secretly sold Klitschko a rematch clause, the clause was hidden from the IBF in the contracts, and the IBF was tricked into delaying their mandatory in favor of sanctioning the WBO mandatory.

Then when it came time for Fury to make his first defense against the IBF mandatory as promised, he refused. The IBF had no choice but to strip him and if they didn't strip him, they would have been sued by Main Events for not enforcing the mandatory.

There is more linage to some belts, but there are quality issues with all of them and any 1 of the 4 belts could be held by the guy who's the clear #1 guy in a division.

You can make up all sorts of logic to make things easier for you but til the sport actually agrees with you it won't matter.

For me today all winning a belt for sure means is you are a top ten guy and very likely a top five guy in your division. From there there are many determinating factors on deciding who's the top guy in a division and holding more belts or certain belts doesn't necessarily make you #1 in this era. Everything is case by case now.

Who needs these belt? The fight between AJ and Wlad would be as big with or without these belts.
And why Pulev???? Easily knocked out by Wlad.....The IBF always has these meaningless mandatories and is wondering why the fans don`t take them seriously anymore.

I really don't care, I want mandatory enforced. Some fights can happen without the belts, I understand how nice it is to have all the belts in one place but in these day and age it would be difficult. Fighters wouldn't have a problem fighting their Mando if it's a soft fight, but if it's suppose to be a hard fight then their promoters would be making it difficult to get a fight like that done.
