Why do people act like Floyd gained so much weight after weighing in?
You can look at his damn 30 day weigh in and see he was always at most 3 pounds over the limit... So how the hell would he gain all that damn weight after weighing in?
I think its just people didn't believe him when he would claim that he gained no weight or like only half a pound by fight night. I think after the fight with DLH he stopped stepping on the "unofficial" scale and would report his own weight.

Specifically De La Hoya because De La Hoya refused to weigh in for their fight (and many others previously)
So Mayweather decided he wanted to be a diva like Oscar and start doing the same thing.
Although he did weigh unofficially a few times post Oscar.
Has he ever answered this question? The explanation given was for hydration purposes. You believe that?
Me neither.
All I know is if I was going to cheat, I wouldn't
A) Do it in front of a USADA collections agent.
B) Do it knowing USADA (& WADA) had 5 years of testing and an Olympic-level ABP to compare things to.
C) Depend on the compliance of complete strangers (the paramedic who administered the IV, the lab guys who tested the samples, the medical transcriptionist who typed up the report, etc) to keep my dirty test secret.
D) Do it right before the biggest fight in the history of the sport which would undoubtedly be legacy making in scope.
