So when Canelo fought Khan, to try and sell that one Oscar said, "This fight reminds me of when Pacquiao moved up in weight to fight me and we all saw what happened. I think Khan has the talent to do the same thing."

When Canelo fought Liam Smith, "Liam Smith is the best of all the Jr. Middleweight Champions, he's the best and toughest fight for Canelo out of all the Champions at 154."

    Lol, now this.

I agree with everything Hoya said

he is likely just selling the fight, but if Chavez has no problem making weight then he is gonna take it to Canelo

this is not a gimme fight like Smith/Khan

catchweights suck, but this could be a good fight

I doubt that the weight will have an adverse effect on either fighter..... but weight can - and likely will - be used as an excuse by one of them after that fight..... either Canelo jumped too high or Jnr was drained

Sounds more and more like Bob every time he promotes a fight

This isn't going to be competitive, but it'll sell well and make for a good event

I laugh when I see all these people writing off JR. Funny thing is, when he wasn't training hard, eating cheerios, smoking weed and skipping practice, he still dominated middleweight and fought a few top contenders before loosing to Maravilla. He fought pretty much the same level of competition as GGG has been fighting other than 2 or 3 GGG fights - and GGG trains hard. Now Jr is focused, training hard, making weight healthy, and you write him off? Lol, I called the upset when the fight was signed, and im still saying it will be a major upset. Chavez Jr vs GGG, September 16th.

I watched the video of Canelo sparring and honest, I kept thinking about Danny DeVito. He doesn't look good to me. A wise man once said, "A good big guy will always beat a good little guy".

Chavez is good, Canelo is very good

he is actually better than very good

weight counts, but so do levels

not arguing with you, I think that the red kid will have his hands full with Jnr, but I do favor Canelo

he is definitely a better fighter

Come on Adela Hoya , you have no credibility. Chavez will be weight drained and from most news reports is still a nightmare when it comes to training. This will be Canelo adding another name to his list of wins although Chavez has a small punchers chance,, I expect Chavez to fade quickly and get knocked out but he may have a moment or two. Yawn!

You can't blame Oscar for lying, Oops, I mean for trying to promote the fight. Oscar provides much needed comic relief.

Oscar is trying to get those PPV numbers up. Chavez is not upsetting the trajectory towards the Golovkin fight. This fight is Canelo/Angulo all over again. I see a Mayorga fight in the future.
