He will lose to Floyd and you will never see him again in the UFC. He will be a guy who made money with his mouth. I can think of a bunch of guys I would like to see him fight in the UFC to see how good he really is.

Plus live gate, and sponsorship, and international rights. Those three things alone could add up to another $100 million.

Floyd is real smart, he will allow White/McGregor to profit simply to make the fight happen..... so he can pocket an easy 100mil+ himself

there will be LOTS of money to go around

Floyd was happy to offer Pacquiao 50/50 back in 2010, and Manny did not deserve 50%
So either way, McGregor is getting screwed any way.

UFC will most likely just get the standard promoter's cut, which is 27% of McGregor's share.

It's fairly easy to gauge public demand and just run the numbers.

Why would you think that? It's a win win for McGregor honestly. Everyone already assumes he's gonna lose based on a boxing match. So just showing up with balls he gets credit. Win or lose he'll be just as popular and go right back to the UFC to defend. Also even if he loses he gets a lot of credibility just by the fact that he stepped in the ring with Floyd for his first boxing match. it's going to increase his profits from any fight going forward just from the recognition he'll get by sharing a ring with a legend
