Thanks for the memes
I never was the biggest Manny's fan - he never was among my top3 favourite fighters, but I do like him and find him very exciting. I also like Floyd
However, there was something unsettling seeing him KOed like that. It was clear that Manny will never fight the way he use to fight and that meant that incredibly exciting style is gone (of course Manny getting old is the main factor).Comment

My fave fight of all time
Everybody loves the ko but my fave part was the end of round 5
Both started swinging for the fences
Manny just could not get Marquez out fast enough
Marquez just smiled
Must have watched it 50timesComment

Sometimes the most electrifying matches are the fatal ones, if you want to see an electrifying fight, go back and watch Benn vs Mcclellan the crowd was tense, loud and passionate. Everything you'd want from a boxing match, the life changing injuries weren't good though (even though Mcclellan was a piece of ****)
An insane moment in boxing was when Watson was putting a beating on Eubank sr & dropped him late in the fight only for Eubank to get up, walk straight over and drop him in one shot ending the fight. A tragic ending to Watson's career who is a good man.Comment

I know everybody felt let down but when floyd beat Pacquiao
I waited years for that
I switched sides so many times
For 6/7 years everymorning I woke up went toilet, put on the kettle, rolled a joint and typed in Pacquiao-Mayweather into my browser
Everymorning
Invested so much into both fighters
And then it was all over
I finally had my answer and was happy
It went the way I expected it to, so I was in no way disappointed by the end of the bout. I was just so ****ing engrossed in it all, I was loving every second. When Manny had May stunned against the ropes, and unleashed a furious barrage on him, I was close to having heart palpitations.
Each time Floyd gave Manny his troll face, shook his head, or landed a counter, I would ****ing ROAR.
It may not have been the best fight I've ever seen, but I absolutely loved it. The build up, Floyd not clowning, looking serious the whole time. Manny's people and fans going overboard with the whole Good v Evil narrative, etc. The legit respect Floyd and Manny showed each other at the end of the fight, chopping it up whilst in each other's arms, etc.
...then that ****ing post fight, "fighting with one arm" bull**** soured it a bit.Comment
