I still get a feeling of anxiousness, excitement & dread even when a fight I'm invested in is about to happen or its a big fight is about to start & the guys start walking to the ring or the intros are happening. There is a part of me that wants to slow down time to enjoy that anticipation more than the actual moment allows you to.

For a specific example doe probably my first moment like that was when Jorge Paez dropped Calvin Grove 3 times in the 15th round to eek out a decision & was the moment that so electrified me I was no longer a casual fan & had a heavy bag in the basement within a month because of that last round.

      Sun,
I didn't see them live, like actually being there. But I did see them live on television. And yes they were exciting. Ohhh...How could i forget Whitaker vs Chavez, Hearns vs Hagler! But Hearns vs Leonard was two fighters with very great boxing skills, speed, power & good ring IQ. A classic evenly match up, that the fight lived up to all expectations.

Yea, thats what I meant you saw them live on tv, not necessarily in person. I would be extremely jealous had you been to all those fights, lol.

Man, I couldn't agree more with this.

During Kov v Ward, I couldn't sit down. Same with May v Pac. When emotionally invested in a fight, there's legitimately NO feeling that can be comparable to the jitters and butterflies you feel in those final seconds before the bell first rings.

Tried to Green you, but was told to spread the love.

When the Holyfield vs Bowe fight was interupted in the 7th/8th rnd by the parachuter known as FANMAN and dragged into the crowd when they pulled his chute and proceeded to stomp and beat him sending him to the hospital with severe injuries .

                    FANMAN became SMASHMAN !

That was an electrifying fight. Margarito became the division boogeyman after this fight and this built drama for Marg vs. Mosley.
