Lol I've been watching a lot of those black Israelite videos where they harass Whites and Asians one the streets. They are quite funny.

I respectfully disagree, doe - I thought Kovalev won the first fight, and did so pretty convincingly without much trouble.

Ward never really was trying to win, but rather it looked like he was just trying not to lose, and to spoil the fight.

Kovalev won at least 8 rounds IMO..
Don't get it wrong. I'll always be supporting russian/ukranian/kazakhstani talents, they're my people, but not Kovalev

Kovalev knows he got the shaft and was told this (that he was robbed) by many American fans of his along with members of the media. He said in a recent video interview that he knows that all 3 American judges gave Ward round 10 too. He's not happy about them giving Ward rounds he didn't deserve to win on the cards.

At best, Ward got 5 rounds. The average score from 60 media outlets was 115-112 for Kovalev. The judges' scorecards and watching the fight objectively tells the story. There's really no need for punch count videos or CompuBox stats.

Why not Kovalev? He is from Central/Eastern Russia, aye??

NM - he was born in Western Russia.

          But he's still Russian!

Stay on topic, what does Mayweather and compubox have anything to do with how the judges got it wrong and that folks need a reeducation on how to score fights?

I schooled someone on here months ago about how compubox can be a load of crap and how they can improve on it so you definitely don't want to bring that mess in here!

Point of the matter here is, the narrative is changing everyday on how the fight was won for Andre Ward!

I've heard someone told me that Ward was going to KO Kov if the ref didn't keep breaking them up and another person tell me that Kov didn't want to fight and Ward was beating him down???? Lmao

I too was.smitten by Ward an Olympic gold medalist and a guy who cleaned out 168 but Sergey Kovalev is a WHOLE nother league than the guys Ward has faced!

The video showed how great Kov is, if he didn't know how to negate the fouling tactics from Ward he'd have cuts on his eyes, possibly broken nose and a doctor would've stopped the fight early(Mikkel Kessler) but fortunately and unfortunately Kovalev is much smarter than that and gave the man all that he was asking for and more and the judges still got it wrong!

Learn something and watch the video!

Never mind I get what you were saying so scratch all of that, just so tired of hearing folks changing up the narrative on how the fight was won..just got a message from a guy who boxes saying Ward will stop Kov to the body early smfh

It's hard to do that when a guy is fouling you and coming in ducking below the waist! I also think Kovalev wanted to prove he can beat Ward at his own game(in which he did supremely) I was very shocked at how Kov negated most of Ward's tactics(few times it worked) and matched him physically!

Ward is a very strong guy and Kov showed him that he's not fighting no 168 guy or tomato can!

People need to stop this schooling nonsense. It's so ****** and insulting to the intelligence. When your life is on the line, survival is first and foremost in your mind. This is not a effing game. It could end your career in one punch. This schooling nonsense would be the last thing in your mind. Is clinching part of the schooling, or part of survival?

That's debatable, regardless if you are or not, you're still a ******.

100/100 eh? pretty funny considering 1/1 hes already won

And yes i expect you to come with ' officially its a l doe' that doesnt change the fact trolls/haters like you are in the minority. Everyone saw a kovalev win.

Everyone with the exception of 3 judges. Yeah, you can say it was a close fight, but considering the context of the fight(foreigner vs. American, judges favoring defense and etc) Ward will always be victorious. Kovalev has to beat Ward convincingly, and you can't get a clear victory over defensive minded fighter like Ward. Kovalev doesn't have 1 punch KO power to catch Ward, he has to land clean combinations to hurt his opponent and it will be difficult to do that against Ward.
And I even don't like Ward with his boring style, but I don't like Kovalev and his ignorance too, the way he responds to his fans for even slight non offensive criticism, the way he don't want to listen to people surrounding him - when Lomachenko's conditioning coach recommended to not overtrain he told him to **** off and now he says he was overtrained, and a lot of other things, what's so hard to understand about it? I recognize his talent, but I'm not a fan of his personality

kov fans and their silly "lets look at the punches" video. boxing is more than that. when you hook a guys arm and hit him with the other that is called inside fighting. when you hit a guy low that is called body work. ward won both those categories. and dont forget kov might have gotten tired. that is called reaching for straws when you have nothing to score on
