This is what I was saying. That as long as Triple G is trying to make the fight with Canelo next then I'm good with it. Because Canelo is the Lineal Middleweight Champion, he still would have to fight Canelo regardless. He can fight Saunders after Canelo. Or it could have been Saunders first, Canelo second. Either way it's a collection of all important titles.

But what I didn’t like is how Tom Waffler handled the whole situation with Warren and Saunders. That was a mess on Waffler's part. Warren and Saunders payed Khurtsidze alot of step aside money. Just bad business practice by Waffler. Hopefully Waffler will work something out with Warren to rectify that. Because if he wants G to fight Saunders after Canelo he has to be able to have respect from Warren. So Waffler has to man up and fix the mess with Warren for the good of future negotiating to set up a Saunders undisputed unification fight.

Otherwise I'm good with G looking to fight Canelo and then fighting Saunders after.

And I believe this too. $10 million for Golovkin and $4 to $5 million for Saunders? Where was that money going to come from? HBO ain't paying that. A PPV fight wouldn't cover that. K2 don't have that kind of money to pay fighters and neither does Warren. So now an attempt at damage control by Waffler.

However he's going to need to fix this with Warren now. Because they paid Khurtsidze a lot of step aside money for Saunders to fight G. If he wants Saunders to still be available in the future, he's going to have to man up and repair this with Warren.

Loeffler and GGG overplayed their hand. The train has left the station as they say. Golovkin was offered $15 million which he turned down. Now he will not fight Saunders to unify the title. What next? Who knows and who cares? Possible Canelo moves are: Fight Chavez Jr. in May, rematch in September if it is a close fight and Saunders in May 2018 or Fight Saunders in September 2017 if Canelo blows out Junior. I don't think GGG is in the picture at all unless he fights Canelo for less than $9 million.
