I appreciate all styles but if forced to choose I tend to choose highly skilled over pure power.
LMAO at Floyd being clean cut! He beat the snot out of his baby-mamas and security guard, surrounded himself with thugs and wannabes, sexually harassed Brundrage's wife at ringside, escaped numerous arrests and lawsuits involving shootings and beatings of bouncers and women, made racist and ****phobic remarks about fighters, says women are no different than his possessions like cars and ***elry. Yeah, clean image, LOL.

      Couldn't agree more.

I like that there are a variety of styles. I think the sport would be kinda boring if everyone fought the same way, even if they were all good.

Beating good fighters. That's all, if a fighter beats good fighters, they're good in my book.

KO's don't really matter to me, but if you do it by KO, good for you, even better, you KO'ed a good fighter.

If a fighter i'm critical about defeats a fighter I thought would beat him, that too would make me take a more positive look at that fighter.

Examples are, I didn't like Sergio Martinez, and thought Paul Williams would beat him in the rematch. Then you know what happened, and I then respected Sergio big time.

I didn't like or dislike Kell Brook, but his fight against Porter made me like him.

I didn't think anything of Daniel Jacobs at the top level, and I thought Golovkin was the best MW and didn't think Jacobs would last past 5-6 rounds, but Jacobs fighting a close fight with him made me respect him.

Lastly, I think Linares is overhyped, overrated, I don't like his resume and he is the 3rd best LW in my eyes, but if he can somehow beat Mikey, Easter or Lomachenko, then I would respect that and I would take him more serious.

A willingness to fight anybody goes a long way for me. If he honestly believes he's the best, he's willing to fight anybody. These type of fighters make the sport much better in every way.

As far as technical aspects, I like guys who fight aggressively but also take few punches. They can take one if they have to, but they know how to slip and use head movement and footwork to avoid big shots.

Power isn't a must, but it definitely helps a lot. A fighter who never scores a KO or even worse, never ever goes for a KO, gets to be boring over time. There's no reason for us to think the fight will be anything but a decision which really takes an edge of excitement away.

We haven't reached that status yet. You can give me your condolences once he has reached Roy Jones Jr status. Lol

I like different guys for different reasons. There isn't much of a blueprint for what it takes to get me liking a boxer cuz my favorites have a fairly broad range with probably my top 5 all time favorites being Tyson, Jorge Paez Sr, Toney, Tito & Floyd. If I'm partial to anything on a regular basis or at least a fan of more often than not its guys who are from where I'm from, Michigan (Floyd, the Dirrell brothers & back in the day all the Kronk guys, Chris Byrd + Toney among many others) & more recently Upstate NY (Willie Monroe & master of f#cking up & MMA guy Jon Jones) cuz typically I know more about those guys' background & who they are outside of the ring so I feel like I have more skin in the game when those guys win or lose in some kinda sorta way.

I'd vote for all of those options. It doesn't mean I would like every single fighter who possessed those qualities though. It just depends on the fighter.
