You keep saying that but I haven't heard or read anywhere where Golden Boy promotions is requesting Mikey agree to a long term deal with them in order to get the fight against Linares. Your the only one who I've heard say that.

Umm Flanagan is'nt my first choice, but the fight makes a lot of sense. Unification, another nice payday for Linares in a place where he seems to be developing a nice fan base.
