What does "an entertainment perspective" mean? All of the fights would be entertaining if both guys come to fight. You seem to think Manny has the best chance to beat Mikey so you suggest this fight.

We are talking about Manny's next fight which is Nov/Dec. No one has anything set. The Brook/Spence winner, Thurman or Crawford would all be available.

You didn't prove anything. I posted he should fight other ww, the division where he is champ.
He's fighting the #2 ranked welterweight in the WBO and IBF. Not his fault that Horn is ranked as high as he is. At least he isn't calling out some carnival clown fighting in UFC.

I don't see Mikey Garcia or Crawford being held to the same standard here. No one is suggesting they move up and fight other champions. When is the last time you or any other Manny haters called upon Crawford to move up to 147 to fight Thurman, Garcia, Brook, or Spence? When Kellerman interviewed Crawford after his fight with Molina, he asked about a possible fight with Spence and Crawford stumbled and stuttered over that one. I see double standards from all sides, but you are holding your ground while offering opinions against my facts.

Yes but he is not a top ww at all. The Proposed Floyd/McGregor fight is a joke but Floyd is retired, he isn't a current WW champion.

Now you are simply being disingenuous. Crawford is being asked to go up to 147 and fight. why Manny over the others you listed?

Because Manny is seen as the #1 ww and Crawford the #1 JWW, Both are considered top 10 p4p fighters and there are no political impasses or barriers to the fight happening.

It just seems peculiar that you as a fan wouldn't want to see the best guys in a division fight or the best guys from divisions next to each other.

Instead, you support a fight with a LW that just left TR, making the fight virtually impossible to be made.

mannys WW run is very overrated and full of catch weights. hes a great fighter tho but even outside of the champs at WW there are decent fights he could make

Floyd had some catch weights too, in fact, he never bothered to make weight for his CW fight with Marquez.

Manny made weight for all of his fights and no one forced his opponents to accept the CW. Cotto was champ and agreed to 145, his fight prior he weighed in at 146, so one pound really made a difference? Manny was coming up in weight. He fought all of his toughest opponents at their weight.

I didn't say I don't want to see Manny vs. Crawford. I did say I think the Garcia fight would be more entertaining and it is not a guaranteed win for Manny either. Crawford backed off on Postol when he could have finished him. He didn't close the show. He was content to coast to a UD victory and it wasn't a very entertaining fight. If Crawford wants big fights be better start giving it his all.

Make no mistake, if Manny agrees to fight Crawford his haters will still criticize him for fighting a guy coming up from 140.

Well, I guess it's possible to go 36-0 with 30 KO's by fighting tomato cans.
Here's a better example... Canelos first 40 wins....

So what if he didn't KO Postol. He won the fight clearly, looked great and dominant and established himself as the best JWW in the world and is regarded as a top 5 p4p fighter in the world.

It's ok dude. You just come off as wanting Manny in fights where you know he has the best chance to win.

The only notable, and it's not so great, person Crawford beat is Postol. That makes him a top 5 p4p fighter? Good grief. I won't be asking you to pick my Powerball numbers.

Are these guys serious? Lomachenko? Garcia? Horn?

Why aren't they talking about Thurman?
