Pac came up from Flyweight, and walks around smaller than Mikey. Garcia has had the luxury of draining himself down to fight smaller guys for most of his career. That is Robert Garcia's M.O. for training his fighters, drain them down two or three weight classes and come in heavy on fight night.
    Thurman has no opponent.

Mikey just left TR, a fight with him is less likely to be made than any of the other guys if you are being honest about things, which you don't seem to be willing to do.

Your refusal to answer the question indicates you know the other fights are better. maybe you think he loses those fights and has the best chance to beat Mikey out of all of them so you go with this fight.

Ok, that makes sense. use the Horn fight to get Manny a KO win then build to Crawford (or Kahn).

I doubt it will be khan. Crawford or Broner make most sense

I for one don't see why Broner isn't jumping at the chance to fight Manny. He is likely to lose but his schtick would drive sales of the PPV by allowing Manny to play the ggod guy role against the evil, arrogant, loud mouth.

he could always get lucky and land a punch if he actually took training camp seriously.

Worse, its a guy he knows Bob will not make a fight with because he just left TR.

            Exactly!

Mikey has the advantage in youth, while Pac has the advantage in speed and experience. Their power is about equal. If they meet at 140-142 there should be no problem with this fight. None of you haters had a problem with Marquez leaping two weight classes to fight Floyd at a catchweight that Floyd never bothered to make.
If Mikey was effective at 147 he'd be fighting at 147 right now. If Pacquiao won't go to 140 for Crawford but he'll go to 140 for Garcia, smmfh.

The sport is bigger than one guy and fans of the sport should want him to vacate if he has no plans to face the other champions in the division

I think you are being deliberately obtuse. I've answered your question. Thurman has expressed his intentions to fight the winner of Brook/Spence. He has also expressed his willingness to fight Pac. From an entertainment perspective I think Pac/M. Garcia is more entertaining given their styles. If Thurman chooses to adopt the same approach that he did versus D. Garcia, it can be a boring fight if he isn't willing to engage.

Brook has expressed his intentions of moving up to 154 very soon, so there may not be any more fights for him at 147 looking ahead.

Crawford is fighting Diaz at 140. He needs to win that fight first. I think a fight with Crawford and Manny is a good fight, but probably not the most compelling or exciting. Bud moving up would still have the size advantage over Pac, as well as youth. You have no problem with other fighters having a size advantage but you feel Pac should not have one over Garcia, which as I already proved to you, he wouldn't.

I can't see Arum ever making this fight. He shoved Horn, Vargas down our throats and a pointless Bradley 3rd fight before that. Roach selling fairy tales again.

Mikey would not be fighting at 147 because for his entire career he has been draining himself two or more weight classes to fight smaller opponents. The fight likely wouldn't be at 147, probably closer to 140 which for Mikey walking around at 160+ shouldn't be a problem.

Crawford is a big 140 and it's time for him to move his ass up to 147. I have no problem with Pac fighting him. It's a good fight, but first Bud needs to take care of business with Diaz which is no sure thing.
