They need to ammend the Ali act to protect these fighters, otherwise we wouldnt have such ****in greed in that sport and having mma fighters want boxer type of money. Smfh i swearComment

No **** it's not done yet, McGregor spent all of last week coked up to the gills after Aintree, sitting in tree houses & going to house parties while his Wife/Girlfriend sat at home the whole time heavily pregnant. Let's hope this joke of a fight never happens.Comment

low MMA fighter pay has nothing to do with the Ali Act, it has to do with UFC having a virtual monopoly on MMA. Sure, there are a few much lesser-known MMA outfits like Bellator, etc, but for the most part "MMA" has been synonymous with UFC for the past decade or 2.
Ironic that some people here want that same type of monopoly to succeed in boxingComment

Why not? Fans aren't fighters. Fans want to see the best fights, which I do give the UFC credit for as the fights people want to see usually happen.low MMA fighter pay has nothing to do with the Ali Act, it has to do with UFC having a virtual monopoly on MMA. From a fighters perspective I agree that boxing's model is a lot better than UFC's/MMA's model.Comment

White is as bad or worse than Don King and Bob Arum ever were. He keeps a large percentage of money and pays his top fighters peanuts compared to top boxers.
But if we are talking the Muhammad Ali act then we have to include Al Haymon in that discussion. A man who acts as both promoter and manager while calling himself an "advisor".Comment

It's not close to being done because it was never close to being done. It's a publicity stunt instigated by a man-child minstrel who can't bear the thought of being out of the spotlight.
LOL @ the dolts who ever believed this would!d happen.Comment
