I am a man of immense faith, raised Catholic, Born Again, etc, but statements like these irk me.

Ya its a sin. To put it simply, if u look at how male and female body parts are designed, it is obvious that we were Created for heterosexual activity. Anything other than that is simply not normal. People can do what they want, of course, but that doesn't make it normal. People can stand on their head and walk upside down, but that doesnt make it normal.
