Salido isn't the type to ask for $1M like Roman Gonzalez, I'm sure he just wants his fair share for a Lomachenko fight.

Say there's $1M for the fight. I think $550,000 for Lomachenko and $450,000 for Salido is fair.

The problem is Salido probably sees what Lomachenko is getting paid (which would probably be between $700,000 and $1M) and feels like he is getting ripped off.

You can't expect Salido to be comfortable with Lomachenko's purse most likely doubling his and you can't expect Lomachenko to take a pay cut to cater to Salido's feelings. I doubt the fight gets made unless like always the Mexican sacrifces something to get the fight done.

come on man ..salido is a thousand miles away from a p4p fighter roman is...RG is more like a carbajal type of fighter so he has the argument to be asking purses like that..

in salido's case, the single win over loma is a good leverage and it's a win-win situation for him... if loma takes, he gets paid max purse, if not, he's stock as a fighter increases as the only guy to beat loma to date, can't blame salido for trying to maximize his paycheck ..loma, on the other hand, needs that revenge to calm his critics down
