Salido is there to be had but Loma or arum are being cheap refusing to pay for it. Salido wants to cash out and I get that but you would think arum would want to avenge the blemish on loma record and would stop playing games and just pay Salido.

This is a far more attractive fight. I'd also love to see it!

I don't feel bad for Salido though. He dragged his manager and Arum through negotiations the last time only to walk away when all his demands were met. That is shady stuff to do and it backfired on him.

Now he has to go back to Top Rank groveling with his hat in his hand. Bob will bend him over now and offer less money than he did originally. After he takes a beating from Lomachenko, Salido is gonna have to pick up some extra Uber shifts.

Loma has a ALOT of work to do
at 130. He hasn't fought ANY of the top guys. Corrales, miura, berchelt, hasn't rematched Salido, etc. Yet people want to throw a parade because he beat guys like sosa that aren't on everyone's top 10 rankings at 130. I favor him against any of the top guys if it happens but damn he has to make and win some of these fights first.

Yeah he should go the Walters route and fight Lomachenko straight off an 11 month layoff, that would be the tough thing to do, the manly thing. Give Loma the best chance possible and give himself the worst chance he has to win.

None of those guys want to lose their belts for 700k against Loma when they can make 500k defending them over and over against bums. Lomachenko did beat Walters who would probably KO at least Miura and and Salido, though. And Sosa KO'd Fortuna who was also a top guy before then. Berchelt is the most interesting fight, then Corrales. None of them have much chance against Lomachenko.
