I've been watching boxing since '98-'99ish and have never been interested in watching girls try to apply the sweet science. I don't see the appeal in watching women do what men are infinitely better at. Same thing with the Wnba and the NBA. Nothing worse than a woman trying to be "tough" and have an opinion at the same time. What exactly is the purpose of her saying this? Like, does she expect an apology, him to be fined, sanctioning bodies to give him a verbal "warning", or is she simply trying to get attention? Its obvious, imo. She's young, so I guess she hasn't learned that nobody really cares about a woman in America complaining about men. Well, maybe Mosley will take up for her, but he's about as pu55ywhipped as they come.
Nothing of what Kovalev has said here, or even in the past, is wrong. You being as sensitive as you are with regards to this topic, is precisely why people scoff at the idea of women's boxing.
I think she's reaching there but I respect Claressa and I don't mind seeing a bit more heat added to this promotion.
People get giddy when Kovalev talks shyt but I guarantee they're going to bash Claressa for saying this (even though her and Kovalev already have beef from last year).
It's because she's annoying as **** talking about how she "knocks guys out in sparring". Is she so sensitive about her own gender that she has to reach out and say **** like that? Just say you're the best woman boxer or something.
See i don't get the whole women belong in kitchen saying. As my boy Pacino says the best cooks in the world are men. So does that make Women only good for one thing?
