John David Jackson has been kind of quiet

During the press conferences last week we heard from both Ward and Kovalev. There was also a lot of talk from Virgil, Duva, Klimas, Roc Nation, and even J. Prince.

But not much from JDJ. And he was pretty vocal last time.

Any idea as to why? Was he busy in training camp with another fighter or something?

He was told to shut up in the corner last fight, seemed like Russian trainer took over for the majority with Jdj serving as water boy. Seems to be, and the ward camp is hinting at, some discord.

I'm glad they're at least together. Kovalev can be a real goon sometimes and I'm surprised JDJ has stuck around as long as he has.

jdj only sticks around for the paycheck. kovalev blatantly disrespects him for the world to see and criticizes american trainers in general. hes a lame duck in that camp. he has no voice or power. sad reality.

Seems to be. Never a formula for success going into a big fight

He's just around for the check, Kovalev is known in boxing to pretty much do as he pleases and doesn't listen to his trainers advice much (just ask Abel). I'm losing respect for killa Kov as of late, dude literally is twitter fingers and then all quiet when it's time to talk in Ward's face.

jdj has been reduced to a towel guy........

kovalov doesn't give a **** about listening to him. never really respected him as even a man. also jdj made him do a lot of hard training that kovalov personally didn't like. he felt he trained "too hard" the last go round. honestly he's delusional and if he doesn't get his mind together he's gonna destroy his own self in the rematch. no one is calling kovalov out for this only rooting and cheerleading his comments as he focuses on the 1st fight. "i win i win. look at that knock down" **** the first fight u round goat mouth motha****a. focus on training harder for this fight. work. focus. forget the vodka. all of his fans think that this is a joke and enjoy the trolling of it......****ing train harder.

Agreed i think kovalev would be better under a diff trainer. A trainer who is a Cold Disciplinarian
