Yea in several things I've watched & read in the aftermath it sounds like JDJ is being hint at playing into the L so not surprised. Idk whats going on in the corner lately or in training, but I have seen Kovalev saying he's planing his own training camp which seems like a bad move that is more likely to have a worse outcome than a better outcome vs Ward.

Been looking into this. Found this is an LA Times article from 4 days ago; "Kovalev (30-1-1, 26 knockouts) will continue to keep his camp at Big Bear under trainer John David Jackson, but said his progress will be more closely monitored by an assistant conditioning coach."
