People saying Ward is a smart fighter with skills, he is, but people are forgetting that Kovalev was outboxing him a lot of the time.

Kovalev won about 7 rounds in my opinion, even if it's 6, he still wins with the KD but people are acting like the rounds he won was because he was landing hard shots. No it wasn't, apart from the KD rounds, Kovalev clearly outboxed Ward in the other rounds he won.

There was nothing in that fight that clearly indicated Ward was a far superior boxer. The fight was two very skilled operators in a close fight.

Ward keeps talking as if he schooled kovalev or something. He just backed up and landed baby jabs and the occasional left hook those 10 rounds. Not at one point did it look like kovalev was in danger. Ward is just trying to gas himself up because he doubts the win and doubts he can do it again.

Yeah, unlike Danny Jacobs, who needs 7 or 8 months to prepare for a big fight, same as his training buddy Andre Ward.

I hear cycling is a big part of training for Danny and Andre, you know, Lance Armstrong style. Jacobs needs to get a lot of miles under his belt before he's ready for GGG again.

Before the first fight....EVERYONE with common sense had these two ranked 1 and 2 on the P4P list...the fight was just a reflection of what boxing heads already knew

these two are EVENLY matched and equally skilled...this was and ALWAYS will be a 50-50 fight imo....Dre got touched up and dropped early but was still able to grind out enough rounds to squeak by on the cards

imo it could have gone either way....no matter what this is STILL by far the most RELEVANT fight in the sport
