The promoters commission etc should want this on their own. A fighter shouldn't have to point out something so obvious. Boxing is archaic.
This type of **** also shouldn't be allowed:
"When Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev meet for their rematch on June 17th, it will be with all 3 judges being from the U.S rather than other parts of the world. Kovalev’s promoter Kathy Duva says she asked for one of the judges to be from outside of the U.S, but she was turned down by Ward’s side. Ward (31-0, 15 KOs) is saying that Duva signed off on the 3 judges being from the U.S during the negotiations for the fight at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Comment

I think this is ridiculous myself. What kind of precedent is being set if every time a fight doesn't go the way one particular boxer expect we change the rule to accommodate them? I guarantee if the fight went the other direction and Ward asked for neutral judges in the rematch the reaction wouldn't be the same.Comment

Krying Kitty Kovalev, there is no such thing as a close fight, its called a robbery and ALL THE JUDGES ARE PAID OFF, so boxing isnt legit, right? Why are you watching....Sweet Pea was really robbed vs Chavez Sr, but he didnt cry this much

as usual certain group of poster are against neutral judges, they show it deliberately or sarcasticly in this thread.
it seem too ridiculous for me they against the idea of neutral officials just because it came from the opposite camp.Comment

Kov knows what must be done, he outboxed him the first time in a great tactical fight now he has to keep it out of the judges hands or he'll likely won't get the decison!
Giving round 10 to SOG is still my biggest question of what they really saw!Comment

Ward, nor any other boxer, has no reason to give credibility to any judge conspiracy theory when their opponent cries foul. Kovalev lost. Grown up, perform better for the entire fight this time and try to get the victory.
Fact: Kovalev threw more punches in the 12th than in any other round in the fight except the 2nd round. He and his corner knew how close that fight was and that's why he was going all out in the last round.Last edited by Mr. Luthor; 04-16-2017, 06:57 AM.Comment

Kovalev and his fans already getting ready for their excuses. It's a beautiful sight to see them squirm, whine, and cry their way to this loss.Comment
