You're going to get the typical NSB responses. Those that love Loma will say it made no difference, those that hate him will say Walters would've KO'd him. You can probably predict the response from every poster.
With me, I think Loma beats Walters 10/10 times. He's just in another league. You can search my post history and find me saying, I still wasn't sure if Walters was a truly elite fighter, or just a big fighter that was overwhelming smaller featherweights. I look at the fight with Miguel Marriaga where Marriaga, who is a big puncher, wasn't even affecting the much bigger Walters.
But at the same time, you can't be delusional and say that the layoff had NO impact on Walters. Of course it did. Layoffs are never good for fighters and this situation was no different.
