Long layoffs are typically used as excuses all the time in these forums. They also prop up wins. That's why one-fight-a-year fighters, mostly Haymon's, have instant excuse.

The layoff had to have had an impact on his performance.
Having said that he'd still would have lost to Loma.

Put your video games down for a year..then go back and see if you are just as sharp
He couldn't make 126 anymore. Stick to the topic.

I still think Loma wins comfortably, he had 8 months off for the Marriaga fight. Did he look rusty in that fight? i don't think so but Loma is just a level above.

Mayweather came back from longer layoffs than Walters did without skipping a beat. It's a poor excuse for his quitting. Walters is just a mentally weak fighter when things aren't going his way.

This poll is a shining example of how you destroy racism by mocking it and showing how absurd it is.

                Well done, Sir.

                    No, THANK YOU, MAN!

I am still reading those first two options and laughing my ass off.

Walters had plenty of time to prepare for the fight, layoff or not.
