Video - I wonder why English TV doesn't have shows like these.
ESPN in Spanish has at least two weekly shows, or twice a week, or more, not sure , A LOS GOLPES and GOLPE A GOLPE with Juan Manuel Marquez hosting one and Julio Cesar Chavez hosting the other.
He doesn't get credit because he hasn't done anything worth getting credit for since beating Donaire. No one doubts his skills, but you have to actually beat some opponents worth a damn eventually.
Why people keep putting him near the top of p4p lists after so many years doing nothing boggles my mind.

That's because HBO fanboys are content with the old school HBO mentality with Jim Lampley and Hispanics don't know anything about boxing. That's why it was funny when people kept asking me why I kept on using "empirical" when talking about boxing theory and compubox.
I'm unashamedly an eye test guy, so I got no problem fundamentally with Rigo being picked top of the pile (though I think Loma is at least as skilled), but I have to temper that with the sad reality that 1) Rigo's 36 years old and will inevitably start to slide and 2) outside of Donaire his resume is relatively thin - though I acknowledge the dude has been highly avoided.
sensfullviolenc, I agree with you, rigo is boring. so what i think needs to happen is, YOU need to get in the ring with him, and FORCE him to FIGHT, to show us all how to whip his boring ass, so he can do something boring, like rip off your big ugly Habsburg jaw, you ****ing inbreed bastard. stop saying master boxers are boring and appreciate the science, or go watch some MMA, where men in speedos lay together and make love and rub eachother down for 5 rounds
